I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and provide therapy for adults and adolescents. My insight has been gained through my professional and life experience and I have developed a multi-modal approach to therapy.
Some of my favorite theories to apply are Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,
Mindfulness, Meditation and Relational Cultural Theory.
My goal is to provide support for individuals faced with Depression, Suicidal Thoughts, Self-harm, Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorders, and overall difficulties managing stress associated with adjustment to life transitions. Changes in life such as chronic health conditions, divorce, co-parenting and any major life change will require an adjustment, and this can be a major stressor. These stressors can result in feeling overwhelmed and distraught. I will be there to help you in your growth and empower you to move toward positive change and assist you to rediscover your purpose in life.
I have worked with youth and adults from a variety of cultural backgrounds and enjoy being culturally informed and sensitive to my client’s believes, gender, ethnicity, and sexual orientation. I have traveled extensively, nationally, and internationally, and gained a valuable vantagepoint I find helpful in our culturally diverse society. I believe in creating a healthy balance in life. My goal is to provide you with life skills that will empower you to overcome obstacles with optimism, a newfound sense of calmness, or I simply will walk alongside during difficult times so you don’t have to do it alone.
