Hi, I’m Amber! I love working with kids, teens, and individual adults. I have 10+ years’ experience in mental health working in various settings through my career as a therapist including group homes, shelters, schools, in homes, and in an outpatient setting. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, life adjustments, ADHD, autism, and a few others. I pull from several therapy approaches as I don’t believe there is a one size fits model. Some approaches I pull from include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), narrative, solution focused, and a few others along the way.
Life can throw us lemons, and sometimes we’re not in the mood for lemonade. That’s where I come in. Humor and empathy are important staples of my therapy process, as I enjoy working with adolescents and adults. Let’s work together to build up your mental health toolbox.
